Cif Cream White

Now I'm not a massive fan of cleaning but it's just one of those things that we have to do unless we want to appear on 'How Clean Is Your House?' We've all got neglected areas in our houses and areas that are tough to clean and sometimes my current cleaning products just aren't good enough to get the job done so when I was sent some Cif Cream White to try I knew just the areas to test it on.

Here's what Cif say about their product

"Cif cream removes all kinds of dirt.  The millions of micro-particles contained in each drop will clean kitchens, bathrooms and more, delivering beautiful results every time! You’ll be amazed at what you can rejuvenate with our multipurpose cream!”

Cif Cream White is great for removing burnt on food, tough grease, tough soap scum and water marks and can be used on ceramic, enamel, plastic, stainless steel and vitroceramics.

My husband does all the cooking in our house because he loves it and although he is an excellent cook he's also very messy so cleaning the oven, especially the hob is something I have to do several times a week. I'm pretty embarrassed to show you these photos but this is what our hob looked like after a few days of my husbands cooking, please excuse the bright blue oven, it was left by the previous owners of our house.

As you can see from the before and after photos the Cif Cream White did a really good job although it didn't get rid of all the black marks however the oven is pretty old and I don't think anything would make it come up perfect at this point.

After I had cleaned the oven I started searching for somewhere else to clean and found a pretty grotty cupboard where we keep our cooking oils, the oils had clearly leaked into the cupboard and over time the oil had made a big sticky mess that was glued on and would definitely take some removing.

I was really impressed with how well it cleaned up the oily mess as the oil had actually set pretty solid and needed some major scrubbing to get rid of but it cut through the grease easily and left no oily residue behind.

Overall I was really impressed with the Cif Cream White and I think it's one of those products that everyone needs to have in their cleaning cupboards as it's perfect for tackling tough stains in your kitchen, bathroom or anywhere else that you find difficult to clean.

  1. I love CIF, I just wish it hadn't changed its name from JIF coz I can't forgive it for that lol.

Wow it looked like it worked well! And please can I borrow your husband who cooks?!!!!! Jon wouldn't know how if I taped up the microwave....
