As most of you know I'm dieting and one thing that I find quite hard while I'm counting calories is not being able to bake, I love baking and so does Riley but if I bake then that means there are lots of yummy, tempting cakes around to make dieting even harder.
However I recently discovered something that has helped and means that I can still bake and even enjoy some of the treats I make too. Instead of using sugar in recipes I've been replacing it with Natvia Sweetener.
Natvia is the only zero calorie sugar alternative that is derived from 100% natural sources. It can be used in exactly the same way as sugar; in tea, coffee and in baking, allowing you to cut the calories and still enjoy homemade sweet treats, guilt-free. Natvia is sourced from natural ingredients and is made from the freshest and sweetest tips of the Stevia plant, so there's no bitter aftertaste.
Natvia are currently running a fab competition called the Easter Sugar Free Bake Off, all you have to do is submit your favourite sugar free recipe and you'll be in with a chance of winning some great prizes including tickets to The Cake and Bake Show, a Magimix food blender and lessons from L'atelier des Chefs among other things.
So if you love baking but want to cut out the sugar why not try out some recipes using Natvia instead and submit your favourite, I'm definitely going to have a go myself.
Natvia is available to buy from Amazon.co.uk, Planet Organic and Whole Foods Market.
