The Emmaljunga Double Viking Pushchair Review

Although my son Riley is almost 4 years old he's very lazy and prefers being in a pushchair than walking so we're still using a double pushchair and my current double is pretty old and not the nicest thing to push so I was delighted when we were asked to review the Emmaljunga Double Viking from Baby Dino.

As soon as our Double Viking arrived I was so excited to put it together which was by the way super easy to do, I absolutely love the colour as navy is my favourite colour and it's perfect for both girls and boys. The seats can be forward or rear facing depending on the age of your child, both of my children like to face outwards as they like to watch the world go by. Also the Double Viking can be used as a travel system as you can choose to have a carrycot instead of a seat and you can also attach an Emmaljunga infant car seat to the pushchair base so it suits all types of families.

The pushchair itself is such good quality I knew just by looking at it that it was going to be really comfortable for the children and really easy for me to push and I wasn't disappointed. When we set out for our first walk with the pushchair I couldn't believe how easy it was to maneuver, it was an absolute dream to push and glides along as if there's nothing in it which is a refreshing change from my old double that feels like I'm pushing an elephant around.

Features and Benefits of the Emmaljunga Double Viking Pushchair

The kids loved going out in this pushchair, the seats are really comfortable and high up so they can get a good view of everything around them. The straps were nice and secure but not uncomfortable and the seats can be moved to various different positions by moving the back rest and the foot rest separately. The seats also have nice big hoods to keep the sun off the kids and keep them sheltered if it gets a little too windy.

There are two good sized shopping baskets which are the perfect size for coats, drinks or any bits and bobs you need to pop in there and when you're finished using the Double Viking it's really easy to fold up, it practically folds itself.

Over the last couple of months I've loved going for walks and even runs using the Emmaljunga Double Viking, it really is the best pushchair I've ever used and that is saying something because I've used quite a few, we currently own five pushchairs, don't ask me why!

My only issue with the Double Viking is that it's a little large to store anywhere easily, even when folded up it still takes up quite a lot of space, which probably wouldn't be a problem if we didn't own so many pushchairs already. It doesn't fit in the boot of my car but then that's no surprise as I own a Vauxhall Corsa and the only pushchair that fits in the boot are the umbrella folding strollers but it doesn't fit in the boot of my husbands car either and he owns a BMW 3 Series Estate so I would definitely advise you to make sure that this would fit in your car before purchasing it.

Other than that I have nothing bad to say about it and have loved every minute of using it. If you're thinking of buying a pushchair at the moment it might be worth knowing that Baby Dino offer a Buy Back Guarantee which means that when you're finished using your pushchair and are looking to sell it they will buy it back from you by either crediting your account so that you can buy a new pushchair or they'll give you cash. I think this is an brilliant idea and something I wish I had taken advantage of when I bought my first pushchair.

  1. This looks great. I have two under three, and really appreciate my double. Great review, I'm sure it will help parents decide which one to get - so many buggies out there. :)

  2. Great review thanks! I have a double buggy very similar to this one when I mine were little. I much preferred the two seats side by side. I tried out one of the double buggies with had one seat in front of the other and felt I couldn't manouver it properly!

  11. Great review, looks very efficient and easy to move about which I like! Storage is always going to be a nightmare, houses need to be built with more hidden cupboard space!

  14. Great buggy, it's good that it's easy to push too. I used to find my double buggy very heavy.

  15. love the fact that you can run with it, bet that burns some calories! I don't use a double buggy but can see how useful it would be, especially on longer trips

  16. This choice is fantastic for parents who are active and need something that is both easy to use and easy to store and fold up. Whether you do lots of driving or are taking the stroller on a train or plane, this is easy to fold up quickly. tbreviews.com/top-10-best-double-stroller-reviews-and-buying-guide/
