Christmas Gift Ideas

With Christmas fast approaching I'm frantically trying to decide what to get for the kids this year, they already have so much it's hard to buy for them sometimes, especially Riley but I have a few ideas and I thought I'd share them with you in the hope it might give you some ideas for your little ones.

My first idea for Riley is a Micro Scooter, they're for children aged 3-5 years old and as they have 3 wheels they make it easier for children to balance. It's also light weight so it's easy for them to lift on and off curbs. I think Riley would love this and would spend hours flying up and down the drive on it.

My next idea for Riley is the classic game Connect 4, this is a game that he's played before at friends houses and really enjoyed and I think it'll help him with learning colours and counting as well as having lots of fun. Connect 4 is included in Asda's 2 for £14 offer on lots of fab toys perfect for Christmas gifts.

Summer is really into copying everything I do at the moment and she loves helping me do jobs so I thought this Little Tikes Fun Vacuum Cleaner would be perfect for her so she can help Mummy hoover. This is also included in the Asda 2 for £14 offer.

For Summer's main present this year I think she would love the Fisher Price Little People Disney Princess Palace, it's so cute and comes with two Disney princesses and the magic dance floor recognises each princess and plays a different song for each one. It's for 18 months + so it's the perfect age range for Summer and I think she'll loves playing with the princesses in all of the little play areas.

That's all of my ideas so far, please let me know if you have any more suggestions for a 4 year old boy or an 18 month old girl, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

  1. Oh gawd...the dreaded 'C' word!! We literally only had my little boy's birthday 2 weeks ago so I have no idea what to get him for Christmas (oh bum, I said it!). For his birthday we got him a kitchen, he's 2 and absolutely loves it (he's loved play kitchens since about 18 months which is why I'm mentioning it!). Got him a scooter too. Am potentially thinking his first toddler bike but I'm not sure if it's too early for him!
